I signed up to YouTube on 2009 merely having a great experience by posting my first videos on Facebook.
It was all about fun.
Learning to create and upload videos, getting pretty nice comments, sharing ideas and meet new like minded people around the Globe was so pleasurable and beneficial.
And someday YouTube changed its policy; I got two strikes out of nowhere for publishing copyright material while hundreds videos on YouTube used the exact same material (!).
I made up my mind, deleted many videos and I tried to conform to their new policy.
So one day I got an invitation to become a #YouTube partner which I did!
My subscribers did not grow nor the views and since YouTube re-changed its policy last year I was kicked out of #Partnership.
It was almost like losing a child, but did not give up.
First of all I have a large network including my pages, groups, profiles on Facebook, a Twitter and LinkedIn account, two blogs and participate to many groups both on Facebook and #LinkedIn.
Two years ago I started posting on #Quora.
What I truly like to suggest is that you have to be active and persistent.
Two months ago I was accepted in the Partner Program again!!!
So here is my list of should be/have:
1- Do not rely only upon YouTube.
2- Be active by sharing, posting, commenting, liking.
3- Be innovative
4- Do live shows on YouTube
5-Add subtitles in various languages
6-Educate yourself
7-Look for and watch channels with large number of subscribers.
8- Put value on what you create.
9- Be yourself no matter what.
10- Perhaps boosting your channel is a great idea after all!
